Scope Of Work
The Kansas Department for Children and Families is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors to provide Janitorial Services at the El Dorado DCF Office. Located at 410 N Haverhill Rd., El Dorado, KS (Approx. 23,604 sq. ft.; made up of 3,050 sq. ft. tile, and 20,554 sq. ft. carpet.
All services shall be performed after 6:00PM CST and before 7:00AM CST on regular business days. The contract is based on service five (5) times per week, Monday through Friday on regular state workdays. All doors are to remain locked during the time the contractor is performing the custodial services in the building. When trash is taken out to the dumpster, the front doors are to be closed and locked. The contractor is to turn off all lights, except those which he is instructed to leave on, close all windows and check that all exterior doors are locked before leaving the building each night.
Contractor is to furnish all soaps for cleaning, detergents, waxes, carpet cleaning supplies and dust cloths. All equipment, including vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, polishers, buffers, brooms, mops, etc., are to be furnished by the Contractor. All equipment must be capable of providing high quality, commercial grade janitorial service. Equipment designed for only light type, residential duty will not be permitted. Agency reserves the right to periodically, at random, inspect equipment and to require replacement, if not adequate in agencies evaluation. Agency will provide toilet paper, paper towels, light bulbs, liquid hand soap and trash can liners.
